Vienna is, as always, a den of spies, caught in the middle of a dramatic fight between the West and the East.

You are training to become a spy yourself, part of a secret order that guards Vienna against its enemies.

To pass the exam, you have to find the secret messages written near the wonders of this city and learn the city’s history.

These will guide you towards the place that can open Vienna to those that are worthy. Only then you'll be named as a Protector of Vienna.

You start at the Rathaus, right in the middle of the city. Take care to follow instructions to the letter and watch out for the traps!

Storyline

You are Mathilde Schleicher, a rising star of Vienna’s music scene. The year is 1889 and you are on your way to becoming the lead singer of the Vienna Opera, but your rival Bianca Bianchi is plotting against you.She feels threatened and will stop at nothing to protect her position, but you are not alone. Just yesterday, a letter was brought to you by a dove, warning you of Bianca’s plans and holding a mysterious clue. It was signed simply “freund” (German for “friend”).

You will not go down without a fight. You decide to play.

Storyline

It’s 1679, and the Great Plague has brought the imperial city to its knees.

Follow the footsteps of local legend Augustin through a city crippled by an epidemic claiming thousands of its residents.

As Marx Augustin arrives back at the gates of Vienna after a long tour around surrounding cities, the famous balladeer finds out that his hometown is struck by the plague. By following the life story of Vienna’s most famous balladeer, you will rise from the dead, and become the symbol of hope for a city in despair.

To get to the starting point of this quest, use the exit metro exit Rotenturmstraße. Once you exit, turn to the right and walk for 200 meters with the river on your right side until you find the stairs on your left, those near a big marble relief (a city-view on medieval Vienna).
