What you'll do

A little further downriver, you will find the Place de la Concorde, the place of the execution of Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution. In the centre of this same square stands the Luxor Obelisk, which was brought back from Egypt in 1836.


Then you will sail under the Pont Alexandre III, the most ornate and elegant bridge in Paris. It has a single arch of 110 in width and has in its centre a representation of the arms of St. Petersburg and two Nymphs symbolizing the Neva River.


A few meters away is the great symbol of the capital, the Eiffel Tower, created by the engineer Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exhibition of 1889. The Tower is 320.75 meters high, weighs 6400 tons and is considered a technological masterpiece.


During the cruise, you will have the opportunity to observe from a unique perspective the Musée d'Orsay, which houses magnificent impressionist paintings by great artists such as Renoir and Monet. Glance at the Notre Dame Cathedral, a fine example of Gothic art, richly decorated with beautiful sculptures and gargoyles.


Before your journey comes to an end, you will pass through Pont-Neuf (New Bridge), which, despite its name, is the oldest standing bridge in Paris. Completed under the Reign of Henry IV in 1606, it was the first bridge in the capital to be built with stones.

We Skip the Line via the pre-booked entrance to Versailles and your guide will lead you from one marvellous room to the next, pointing out where Louis XIV tormented his friends and family with long, boring ceremonies and where it was that Marie Antoinette ate her cake.


Marvel at the sheer size of the Palace of Versailles, one of the largest and most beautiful castles in the world with a whopping 700 rooms. Peruse its incredible array of fine art and the intricate design of its 1250 fireplaces as you work your way through the highlights of the castle including the King and Queen’s apartments, the Chapel, the Coronation Room, the Hall of Mirrors and the Salon of Abundance – how many residences can boast one of those? This list of rooms your guide will show you go on and on, each one an entirely different and unique experience from the Peace Room to the Queen’s bed chamber.


And just when you think that you have seen all that the Palace of Versailles has to offer, you’ll burst into the sunlight and encounter its dazzling manicured gardens, over 1,800 acres in size. We suggest choosing a date when either the famous Versailles Fountain Show or Musical Gardens are running. These shows are not running every day, so please remember to choose the option “Fountain Show” or “Musical Show” when available. The ticket to the show will be included. On rare occasions, and for reasons beyond our control, show schedules and timings are subject to last-minute changes.


The Versailles Fountain Show is a wonderful musical event held in the exclusive groves, designed by André Le Nôtre. Watch fountains explode to the sounds of a cello or just be enchanted by the simple beauty of classical music played in beautiful surroundings.


Enjoy some free time to further enjoy the gardens at your leisure, then jump aboard your return coach to Paris.


Important Information - There may be restrictions

The visit to the gardens is not guided. The guide will provide you with entrance tickets so that you can visit them on your own. The fountain show and musical gardens are only available from April to October. During this period, tickets for the gardens are automatically included in the price. From November to March, entry to the gardens does not require additional tickets.

Please note that the Fountain Show and the Musical Show only take place on selected days between April and October. Please note that the Musical show may be subject to last-minute schedule changes that are not under our control.

Please note that on some occasions, return transportation to and from Versailles will be provided using a comfortable and modern train, allowing you to travel like a local!

For the comfort of all passengers, hot beverages and food are not permitted on the bus.

Please note that the duration of the tour is 5 hours from November to March and 6 hours from April to October

We strongly recommend that clients traveling with young children aged 2 or above to bring their own child seat. Infants aged 0–1 should travel on a parent’s lap. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure the safety of their child.
